Dr. Cristian Maluk is Technical Director at Semper (UK). With 12 years of experience in academic research and teaching at The University of Queensland (Australia) and at The University of Edinburgh (UK), Cristian joined Semper in early 2022 as a lead researcher. Cristian’s work in structural and fire engineering (and science) has received international attention, embodied by novel engineering methods used for better understanding the performance of materials and structures in the event of a fire. He is actively involved in several international technical committees and working groups. His capacity to produce impactful research outcomes at a markedly increased rate has resulted in a total of 140+ scientific articles.
