About

As a technical director and principal on several of the largest healthcare projects in the US, Doug built a reputation for his specific knowledge of the unique challenges presented by urban healthcare design. He’s an elected member of the “think tank” Chicago Committee on High Rise Buildings and the only healthcare representative. As a thought leader in this area, Doug authored the CTBUH article "Challenges and Opportunities in Vertical Healthcare Design.” Most recently, he has leveraged his research on population health by presenting extensively on the subject and now exploring its urban design connections.
