Elena Cortona has been with Schindler since 2001. She led from 2005 to 2007 the R&D Team in South America and was afterwards R&D VP for Top Range Applications In 2016 she took the lead for the introduction and build-up of Model-Based-Engineering (MBE) at Schindler. Elena holds an MSc in Mechanical Engineering from Politecnico di Torino, Italy and a PhD degree from ETH Zürich, Switzerland
