About

Hana Kassem, Director at KPF, has more than 20 years of experience leading the design of academic, research, cultural, transportation, hospitality, and commercial mixed use projects internationally. Some of the notable projects she has worked on include, the Red Hook Houses Resiliency and Recovery, a post-Sandy FEMA funded project which was awarded AIA Urban Design Merit Award, as well as the CUNY Advanced Science Research Center in NYC, a LEED Gold building that was awarded the AIA NYS Excelsior Award. Additional academic projects include the Chapman Graduate School of Business at Florida International University, awarded the Chicago Athaneum Award for Design Excellence. Hana currently serves as a member of the Van Alen Institute’s Board of Trustees. She has served as Co-chair for the AIANY Global Dialogues Committee.
