About

Since joining NBBJ in 2013, James has gained specialist experience in design and coordination on complex multi-use projects. He has worked on a number of international high-rise projects such as a new Headquarters complex for Gazprom in Minsk, Belarus and the Mai House Resort in Hoi An, Vietnam where he was Project Architect. The Mai House Resort consisted of a 155 metre, 5* Hotel, with over 300 rooms and a 37 storey atrium, and is set to become a cultural symbol for the country.

Along with daily projects, James enjoys participating in competitions, such as his innovative and eye-catching submission the ‘No Shadow Tower’, which made global conversation within the architectural industry. James believes in the importance of knowledge sharing and was delighted to organise the CTBUH UK London’s Viewing Corridors event at NBBJ London.
