Luca joined Perkins+Will in 2016, with a broad international portfolio of more than 12 years working on unique developments and destinations around the world,. He honed his design and project quality management expertise at a number of award-winning architecture firms. His experience consists of masterplans, mixed-use developments, cultural, exhibitions, residential and commercial buildings across Europe, Asia and Middle East. He undertook his formal studies at the TU Wien and the Faculty of Architecture in Genoa. In 2006, he collaborated with the Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA) in Rotterdam, working for milestone projects as Fondazione Prada Museum and De Rotterdam mix-use tower. In 2008, he moved to Dubai where he joined X-Architects. From 2011, Luca worked with several firms, including Massimiliano Fuksas and RMJM International. In 2013, Luca presented “Dubai, Dubai. An Unexpected Milestone” in Turin at the architectural festival “Architecture as Cityscape”. He worked at the Kuwait Pavilion at the 15th Biennale di Architettura in Venice with a conceptual proposal on the future of the Arab Gulf. Luca joined Pekins+Will Dubai in December 2016 as Design Lead & Associate with a focus on mixed-use developments and architectural-scale masterplans. Since joining, Luca quickly rose to be a driving force in design. He promotes a mature design process that focuses on targeted research and exploration of multiple options to solve the same design problem. He has worked on several key projects with a focus on mixed-use, cultural and residential development. In April 2018, Luca was promoted Senior Associate and achieved his LEED Green Associate certification.
