Matthew Wright joined FPA Australia in October 2010 in the position of Chief Technical Officer to co-ordinate and develop the Associations technical involvement across legislation, codes, standards and other related technical activities nationally.

Matthew holds a Bachelor of Technology in Building Surveying and has held Building Surveying positions in local government and leading private practices. This building surveying background has provided Matthew with exposure to a broad spectrum of building types including, domestic, residential, commercial, industrial and healthcare and application of various technical requirements. Matthew is a registered building practitioner in the Building Surveyor-Unlimited category in the state of Victoria.
