C.Y. Lee & Partners Architects/Planners, Sustainable Design Consultant | Taipei
Richard Lee has spent his professional life practicing in two distinct worlds. After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania, he worked at KPF and Handel Architects before relocating to C.Y. Lee & Partners in Taiwan, where he has worked on many of the firm’s landmark projects such as The One, Kaohsiung, the Siemens headquarters in Beijing and many others. This has given him a unique opportunity to introduce global concerns and ideology to the largely local practice in Taiwan. Recently he has become the de-facto Sustainability Design Director for the firm and spearheads many of its sustainability efforts.
