Rob is a senior member of MKA’s Office Building Specialist Group, with an extensive background designing high-rise residential, hotel and mixed use towers. Rob has spent 14 years in engineering. He has designed both concrete and steel structures, including those with very specific security and earthquake performance requirements. Rob leads MKA’s Steel Technical Specialist Group and is active in the firm’s Foundations Specialist Group. With projects in four countries and 15 U.S. cities, Rob brings a broad understanding of the best design approaches found throughout the world.

Mr. Chmielowski has been involved in notable projects such as Aspira (1823 Terry Avenue), Seattle; Roosevelt University Mixed Use Project, Chicago; Dubai International Finance Center Concept Design, Dubai; Austin Marriott Convention Center Hotel, Austin; Marriott Residence Inn and Spring Hill Suites, Chicago; Elliott Grand Hyatt Hotel, Seattle.
