S.Veeramani, is the Design Head for Public Spaces Division at L&T EDRC. Since joining the firm as a Structural Engineer in 1992, he has gained in depth knowledge of various engineering disciplines through design co-ordination of over 30 projects including Institutional buildings, Hospitals, Office spaces, Residential complexes, Factories, Convention centers, Exhibition Halls and Airports.
As a qualified Structural engineer, he has done extensive study on the design of Tall Buildings and is well versed with the specific requirements of such designs.
This experience reinforced him to deliver the detail design of the Statue of Unity, the world’s tallest statue commemorating Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
