About

Severin is a principal at Architectus' Auckland studio. Architectus has been operating for over 30 years (founded in 1986) and Severin has played an integral part in the practice for virtually half that time. Originally from Austria, he studied in Innsbruck and London where he completed a Master’s Degree at The Bartlett School of Architecture under Sir Peter Cook. After formative years working for SOM, Future Systems and Baumschlager-Eberle, he moved to New Zealand. At Architectus, Severin enjoys the clear strategic design thinking and collaborative approach the studio brings to problem solving. With his colleagues, he applies research, experience, and technology with an aim to develop solutions that are functional and elegant.
