About
During her decade-long tenure at KPF, Terri Lee has focused on the design of complex, commercial developments from master planning through completion.
An expert at engendering collaboration across teams to ensure the successful delivery of exciting, innovative design, Terri considers one’s experience of a building holistically, from the perspective of both users and the public, carefully considering the interaction of inside and out, and how a given building integrates with the urban realm.
In New York, Terri collaborated on both the exterior and interior design of 10 & 30 Hudson Yards, a pair of class-A office towers that defines the skyline of the largest private real estate development in U.S. history.
The tallest tower in the development, 30 Hudson Yards, is home to the highest outdoor observation deck in the Western Hemisphere and serves as the headquarters for global media and entertainment company Warner Media. The tower features large, efficient floor plans, cutting-edge communications systems for tenants and unparalleled amenities for workers.
Anchoring the southern corner of the site and straddling the popular High Line park, 10 Hudson Yards serves as COACH’s global headquarters with a vertical campus that features a soaring atrium and floor-to-ceiling glass in a column-free space designed to accommodate a modern, high-density office environment.
Abroad, Terri contributed to the Suzhou Huamao master plan, a 33-acre development in the eminent Shi Lu commercial area within the Jinchang District of the historic Suzhou City Center, as well as Citymark tower, a 375m tall office building in northeast Shenzhen. Other experience includes multiple office buildings within the Canary Wharf development in London, including the KPMG European Headquarters.
Terri received her Bachelor of Architecture from Cornell University, where she was the first architecture student to be awarded a Rawlings Cornell Presidential Research Scholarship, and her Master of Architecture from Yale University.
