Tim is Currently the CEO of the Committee for Sydney which has global companies and Australian Icons (such as the Opera House) in membership working together to develop innovative policy for Australia's only global city. He also is a part-time Principal with Arup, the global consultancy.
Before coming to Australia in late 2010 Tim had been an MD of a consultancy team specialising in housing, urban regeneration and policy for cities. Between 2005 and 2010 he served a succession of UK Cabinet Ministers as a special advisor. Bteween 1998 and 2003 , he was CEO of the Thames Gateway London Partnership which had played a formative role in bringing key infrastructure to East London and ultimately the Olympics .
