Toby White is an Associate Principal at Arup and leads Fire & Life Safety in their Boston office. Earning his MSFPE degree from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Toby brings over 20 years of experience in fire & life safety consulting and engineering. He is an expert in code consulting, performance-based design, advanced modeling, and multi-disciplinary project leadership across multiple sectors such as education, hospitality, aviation, science & technology, and healthcare. He serves on the NFPA 101 Committee for Assembly Occupancies, is a Fire & Life Safety instructor at Wentworth Institute of Technology, and a guest lecturer at WPI and Cal Poly’s Fire Engineering programs.
