Zhaofan Li is currently an Associate Director and senior structural engineer of SOM Shanghai office, in charge of the structural engineering team in Shanghai. He has nearly 20 years of experience on building structure design and is a licensed engineer in both China and USA. He is an expert on the structural design of high-rise office towers, hotels, apartments, long span structures and large-scale retail complexes, with concrete, steel and composite structural systems. He has participated the seismic expert review process of many SOM projects in China, and represents SOM in various professional organizations in China.
