China Academy of Building Research, Professor | Beijing, China
Xu Ziguo is a Professor and Chief Structural Engineer at China Academy of Building Research in Beijing, China.
Dr. Xu joined China Academy of Building Research as structure engineer in 2003 after he graduated from Tsinghua University with a B.S. and M.S. in civil engineering and received his doctorate of structural engineer in 2013.
Since serving work in China Academy of Building Research, Dr. Xu focused on studying the nonlinear dynamic responses and the seismic performance evaluation of tall building structures under earthquake ranging from whole complete buildings to their elements and components. He and his team has completed over 70 real high-rise buildings’ seismic performance evaluation projects including Shanghai Tower (632 meters high), Beijing China Zun (536 meters high) with nonlinear elastoplastic dynamic analysis method and shaking table test.
He is also a motivated individual…
